Eyesafe Program

At Innisfail Eyecare Centre, we are proudly affiliated with Eyesafe, which is administered by the Alberta Association of Optometrists. We provide access to prescription safety eyewear designed to meet workplace hazard requirements. This program helps match employees with prescription safety glasses, often at no cost, through their employer’s Eyesafe coverage.

Our optometrists also offer full scope eye care to support workplace safety and productivity. During your exam, we can:

• Prevent, detect, manage and treat vision problems
• Provide prescriptions for safety eyewear
• Identify and manage work-related eye strain (e.g. digital eye strain or computer vision syndrome)
• Address age-related vision changes (e.g. presbyopia)
• Offer personalized recommendations to improve vision comfort and safety at work

Emergency & Workplace Injury

Alberta Health Care provides coverage for all Albertans for emergency eye care at Innisfail Eyecare Centre. Our optometry clinic is fully equipped to handle a wide range of urgent eye issues with timely and compassionate care. Innisfail Eyecare Centre also collaborates with the Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) for patients who have sustained eye injuries on the job, ensuring appropriate care and documentation.
